Rock sliders incorporating a Tree & Gully fender are now available for D1, D2, Classic RR and Defender (once I get my hands on Louis Fender) $695.00 (GCLRO club members price) powder coated black including fitting as long as you drive to Tweed Heads. Have a look at Mick G,s D2 or my classic RR. These are very heavy duty items and bolt to the sill so nothing protrudes from the area to get hung up on.
Any members requiring any custom recovery points or wheel carriers etc see me at the meeting to discuss your requirements.
Regards Justin
Will shortly be available as a kit for DIY installation for other states approx $750.00 + freight please PM me for photos[/img]

Can vouch for these sliders - got them on my D2 and am super happy with them. As justin says, they bolt straight to the sill with nothing else to catch or get hung up. These sliders are particularly versatile, as they allow for jacking, have the step (for my wife to get in) with the step also acting as a gully fender as mentioned and you can use them to chain/rope yourself off if needed. Also zero loss of clearance on the D2 over the standard plastic trim panel over the sill.
Will be at the meeting tomorrow night if anyone wants to look at mine and no, I don't stand to gain anything for this endoresment, i'm just very happy with mine and Justin's method.
Aye, Mick

Might put mine through the powder coaters at the same time, should make it cheaper for all as well.

Subject to availability, I could make our fender available for prototyping? Only thing is we'd like a step rail like the bearmach sliders. Any thoughts? https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Captain
Sorry to take so long to reply but you know how it is. I have played with a 110 Defender and should have a prototype finished this month. The tree and gully fender can be made to your specs as it is 40mm nb pipe it is more than strong enough for a step (3.2mm wall ). I will post new photos in the gallery asap.
