Hi Its simmo, I'm assembling a 2001 disc brake PX 200, but cant get info on how the front brake pipe goes up from the fork to the handle bars.

I think it runs up the outside of the body behind the cover plate that hold the horn, but not inside the body withe he other control cables.

Does anyone have a disc brake Vespa PX scooter, I feel they'll all be the same. Google and U tube have not provided the answers :(

I'll have to go through the photos of my PX 200 to see if any pix show it. However, I fear it won't be shown as my late son had modded it into a rat bike and the pix are from that time. (Scooter went in 2008).y

Huh, Vespa - Piaggio, another fine brand turning motorists into mechanics since the late 1940's...

I have a 1984 P200e that I put one of the scootRS full hydraulic disc brake kits on to - so I can't tell you how the brake line runs from factory, but I can show what I did, if that helps...

And, as per photo, it comes up from the fork, through the mudguard and then into the bottom of the leg shield cavity at the bottom of the horn cover/horn cast/call-it-what-you-will. As you can see, my kit came with a braided line which might be thinner than the factory line.

Once in the handle bars, it runs across to the master cylinder, out through a hole that I customed-drilled as part of the kit install - it will be different to your handle bars as it was, of course, originally just running a brake cable. So I can't help there.

Hope that helps some.
