1992 RR Vogue Fuel System-injector question?

G'day folks,

I'm looking at buying a real nice well cared for 1992 RR Vogue but before doing so, I need a bit of information.
I believe a LR mechanic from the UK visits the forum; he is moving from the UK to Perth later this year, so he may know the answer.
If he, or anyone else who knows, reads this post, can you please reply.
I know the LR and RR 4.2 engines use the Lucas Hot Wire injectors with EV1 Bosch-type connectors.
Do you know if the 1992 Range Rover Vogue SE with the 8cyl 3.9L engine uses the same Lucas Hot Wire injectors with EV1 bosch-type connectors, if not, what injector system do they use?
The local Land Rover agent in Geelong (Gorell Land Rover) could not give me this information, said they diden't know, so I’m hoping someone here will know.

The 3.9 uses lucas "green band" injectors approx 22.5 lb per hour. I believe the 4.6 uses the same injector so its a pretty safe bet the 4.2 does. Nobody here except your rumoured UK guy will know about a 4.2 as they never came to Australia.
The connector is a Bosch connector as I have Bosch "pink" injectors on my car.

I dug out the 1992 LRO magazine and it states
Under other changes (engine)
"The existing 3.9 engine is replaced by a 4.2 in the LSE giving improved mid range acceleration and 200bhp @4850 rpm with a top speed of 111mph.
It goes on to say the Auto tranny has been re-tuned and a new electronic control unit (ECU) fitted.
So it looks as though the 1992 ecu is different between a 3.9 and 4.2.
I will see if any later mags refer to specifics as this is a model release blurb.
BTW my County has an LSE 4.2 imported to Aus with Aussie pistons, but original carbies. Goes great.
