Flat earth wins for me. A navy mate whom sailed half way around the world with me thinks the earth is flat. The discussion over how some secret people pushed props around to fool the sailors in a large swimming pool to make us think we were moving across the oceans to different locations was a bit tricky for my brain to absorb. My thought that why anyone would bother fooling us low level matlows and that they would have used us to be the secret people to push the props around did not meet his expectations either. I can't express it any better so here is a quote from the URL below:
"Hitler and many of his Nazi minions escaped Germany in the closing days of World War II and fled to Antarctica where at the South Pole they had discovered an entrance to the Earth's interior. According to the Hollow Earth Research Society in Ontario, Canada, they are still there. After the war, the organization claims, the Allies discovered that more than 2,000 scientists from Germany and Italy had vanished, along with almost a million people, to the land beyond the South Pole.
This story gets more complicated with Nazi-designed UFOs, Nazi collaboration with the people who live in the center of the Earth, and the explanation for "Aryan-looking" UFO pilots."

Lookup The Goldwind 'white rock' project near Glen Innes NSW. One of many windfarm projects in progress or underway around the country.
Approx 150 turbines total over 2 stages spanning a few years. Each is an impressive steel behemoth structure in its own right.
Each tower needs earthworks by large diesel machines, metres of cabling, deep concrete footings and the infrastructure to mix and batch this material into its final resting place (concrete is very environmentally unfriendly too, I might add), and access roads to tie it all together to a dedicated substation feeding the grid.
The workers are housed, fed, and drive to these remote sites each day to work.
Each tower is made up of up to 10 core components - tower tubes, propellor blades, generator units, being shipped up the new england highway some 300km. Each requires a 600HP truck, two pilot vehicles, and a police escort.
Assembly requires cranes, riggers and a whole assortment of equipment to erect them.
I watched this parade each day for months. I don't suppose these devices have a lifespan much more than 15 years.
I can see how some might question if it is an economically viable exercise, or just an environmental feel good ruse.

The original myth was based on using 1.5 MW turbines 20+ years ago and the origins of it are well documented online.
The new ones at Ararat are 3.2 MW and the output is already available to see online. I'll post the link up when I get a chance in the next couple of days.
AFAIK this farm was built with private money and needed no subsidies to be a viable concern.
I'm interested in all options for power generation, from brown mud to anything.

I grew up a couple of km from Newbridge Cemetery and never knew of the existence of Maryannes Grave. Despite searching every few years for an update I have never been able to find any more info. Was she buried with valuables and someone figured it would be worth digging her up?
THE body of a woman buried in a lonely bush grave south of Bathurst in 1855 has been dug up and taken from the site.
The grave is that of Maryann Tattersall, who died on September 20, 1855. It’s believed this grave at Newbridge is one of the oldest in Blayney Shire.
The iron fence which surrounded the grave is also missing.
The headstone and plinth were found buried under the soil removed from the grave, which appears to have been excavated recently by hand.
There is no apparent evidence of human remains in the open grave, which is around 1.7 metres deep.
After hearing of the grave’s desecration from my brother Chris Freestone, whose property adjoins the densely wooded area where the grave is located, I ventured to Newbridge on Saturday afternoon to see what damage had been done.
Maryann Tattersall’s grave is not actually in Newbridge cemetery, but in remnant bushland fenced off from both the cemetery and my brother’s property, Wychwood.
To get to the site it’s necessary to trek through timbered country into a slight gully. The grave is not visible from either Newbridge cemetery or my brother’s property.
Upon arrival I was shocked at the vandalism and I wonder what would drive someone to dig up a body which was laid to rest 153 years ago.
I learned of this lonely grave some years ago through my brother who, like me has an interest in history. I had visited the site once before.
Luckily, Chris photographed Maryann Tattersall’s grave some years ago.
On Saturday, our first inspection of the area revealed a rectangular hole where the grave had been. There were large piles of loosely packed soil surrounding the hole, indicating the desecration was relatively recent.
The area is heavily wooded and it appears it would have been impossible to get machinery into the area to excavate the grave.
At first there was no sign of the the headstone, plinth or iron fence.
My nephew’s dog, Horse, began scratching around in one of the piles of soil and in the process revealed the corner of the plinth.
The Hamer family, who are constructing a wall in Newbridge cemetery for the interment of ashes, brought along a shovel and some digging revealed Maryann Tattersall’s headstone lying face down in one of the piles of dirt.
Blayney and Bathurst police have been informed of the desecration and were examining the scene yesterday.

For example if you are told by a 9/11 conspiracy theorist that jet fuel can't melt steel beams, the correct response is to say,"But what about that stuff in the chemtrails tanks? Who knows what temperature that burns at".

No need for an apology. I find the internet has killed the idea of critical thinking for the current generation. It's like a machine that gives an answer and is the 'truth.' This terrifies me. It's not shocking enough that the event happened and terrorists destroyed buildings, killing people with hijacked planes in the name of their religious beliefs and in response to US foreign policy. This is banal enough without having to come out with the type of bull**** people like Alan Jones rant on about.

Why is carbon SO bad ? - Plants and TREES love the gaseous variant, CO2, which they use along with water to transmute into 'plant food' - which makes the TREE grow... and pumps out OXYGEN as a by-product.
So, the more CO2, the more the green things grow...and produce more O2 for us animals to breath...and crops grow that bit better...as do our veggies... 'cos the plants are being fed MORE FOOD !!!
'Climate Change' is being foisted upon the world by the UN (again...) and I strongly suspect there's a political / financial basis for it, probably 'wealth re-distribution'
DiscoMick

Carbon is fine if it's locked up in trees, but is bad if the trees are cleared and burnt, which releases the carbon into the atmosphere. So keep carbon stored to avoid screwing up the atmosphere.
Saitch
3rd June 2019, 08:00 PM
Now Mick, putting trees aside, 18% of the human body is carbon. The annual world death rate is around 55 million. That's a lot of carbon going into the environment each year and the population is growing quickly.
In saying this, the human body is 65% oxygen so, shouldn't we be breathing easy?

The problem isn't the element carbon, it's the gases such as carbon dioxide and methane which are "green house gases". Methane is even 30 times more powerful as a greenhouse gas then carbon dioxide. They absorb strongly in the infra-red and so trap heat very effectively. Have a look at the graph here.
Down To Earth Climate Change - Resources (https://globalclimate.ucr.edu/resources.html) and Carbon Dioxide (https://climate.nasa.gov/vital-signs/carbon-dioxide/) and Evidence & Facts on Climate Change (https://climate.nasa.gov/evidence/)
Now on the graph in the first link, ignore the absolute scale. Think of it as just relative changes and consider that sudden recent rise. Now if you saw that graph as a temperature rise of your tires on your TPMS I think you would be concerned :-)

As a general rule for conspiracy theorists, I would suggest considering Hanlon's Razor, one version of which is that "incompetence is much more likely than conspiracy".
I like that! Hadn't heard of Hanlon's Razor.
I know of Occam's razor of course - a razor owned by a bloke named Occam. That's the simplest explanation!

See the discussion of Hanlon's Razor on Wikipedia. Actually, if you think about it, Occam's razor usually will cut off most conspiracy theories. They usually imply levels of expertise and security that are simply not encountered in the real world. There are always leaks and errors that lift the lid whenever more than half a dozen are involved, especially if we are talking about more than a few days in time.

Could the rumour be true that inside every ATM is an overworked hamster running on a treadmill?
Sounds unlikely, but you never know.
The one in Lightning Ridge always had resident redbacks inside but they did not contribute to its efficient operation (or to the comfort of the schmuck that had to fix it) A large can of fly spray emptied into it and a 5 minute wait usually did the trick.

"On the morning of December 4, 2016, Edgar Maddison Welch, a warehouse worker and a father of two from Salisbury, North Carolina, told his family that he had a few things to do; loaded an AR-15, a .38-calibre revolver, and a folding knife into his car; and headed for Washington, D.C. Welch’s intention, he later told police, was to “self-investigate” a plot featuring—in no particular order—Hillary Clinton, sex trafficking, satanic rituals, and pizza.
At around 3 P.M., Welch arrived at Comet Ping Pong, a restaurant in Chevy Chase, where, he believed, children were being held in a network of tunnels. He made his way to the kitchen, shot open a locked door, and discovered cooking utensils. In an interview from jail, a few days later, he acknowledged to the Times, “The intel on this wasn’t a hundred percent.” He’d found no captive children in the restaurant’s basement; in fact, as many accounts of the incident noted, Comet Ping Pong doesn’t even have a basement."

This is up there with the best.
Over the last few months I have built a rather large pile of old trees, branches, shrubs etc. with which to do a burn off.
There I was, happily throwing more and more combustibles into the inferno when I found out that my dear wife had decided to prune our native Finger Lime and deposit the pruned branches in my stockpile. Also, to add more lacerations, there were several Pandanus palm fronds strategically positioned for me to grab.
Death by blood loss came to mind. No need to worry about syringe punctures between the toes, I tell you!

Since 5G is trending (in my head), an anecode that was told to me when I visited the operations centre of a large French mobile phone operator a few years ago.
I asked one of the engineers who worked on mast deployment if they got a lot of opposition.
"Oh yes", he said. "For example, the best place to site a mast in many villages is on the school roof. It actually minimises the amount of radiation hitting the school roof, because there's a blind spot underneath it, but everyone objects."
"So the mayor comes and says, 'Why not put the mast by the water tower, that's nice and high', so we do that."
"Then everyone who can see the water tower calls the mayor and says they have headaches and they're definitely going to get cancer".
"The mayor calls a town meeting and everyone shouts at us and tells us how bad their headaches are. And the mayor demands to know what we're going to do to make the headaches stop. And we say, well, we haven't switched the mast on yet".
It takes quite a while after erecting the mast for it to be operational.)
"And the meeting ends, people go back home, their headaches stop, and we switch the mast on, and everyone is happy except if they're in a bad reception area and they ask us to turn up the power
And then two years later we go to deploy a new generation, and the same people start getting headaches before we've installed it, and we go round it again".
So everyone has been killed about 7 times over by mobile phone masts already. That or the brain tumours that they were going to get from holding their phones too close to their heads for 10 minutes a day.
This was about 10 years ago. This guy had been through this 3 or 4 times in some places. Meanwhile, tens of thousands of people have killed or injured themselves or others by phoning or texting while driving, but for some reason the same people who think that telcos are out to give them cancer also think they can drive with one hand and half their brain.
BTW, telco executives and engineers live in areas with 5G reception like everyone else, just as pharma executives die from cancer even though their companies are apparently hiding a $5 cure. Maybe those execs and engineers are prepared to die for the shareholders.

Well, before she was banned from Twitter (http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/nov/23/tila-tequila-suspended-from-twitter-after-sharing-/) for posting a picture of herself and two other men giving a Nazi salute, Tequila was one of the most prominent Flat Earthers out there — she briefly enjoyed a moment in the spotlight when one very passionate rant went viral. The weird thing is that ordinary people all over the USA have noticed often unmarked white vans busy installing huge 5G towers and wiring up schools & street lights during the coronahoax lockdown, and the vans are often protected by police vehicles. Others have noticed it here in the UK as well.
It seems that the lockdown is just a cover to allow them to install 5G everywhere. Wuhan was the epicentre of 5G, with more than 100,000 5G towers and installations in the city, switched on just before the coronahoax outbreak, as Jon Rappaport pointed out.
Here’s how veteran Stephen Luke explained it: “When they tune the 5G in to 60GHz it causes the rotation of the electrons around the oxygen molecule to spin. This inhibits the ability of haemoglobin in your blood to properly uptake these oxygen molecules, and this then leads to suffocation.”

Two babies?
"Project Aura was Newport’s first job for the federal government. Things moved quickly and smoothly, employees and federal officials said in interviews.
Every three months, officials with the biomedical research agency would visit Newport’s headquarters. Mr. Crawford submitted monthly reports detailing the company’s spending and progress.
The federal officials “would check everything,” he said. “If we said we were buying equipment, they would want to know what it was used for. There were scheduled visits, scheduled requirements and deliverables each month.”
In 2011, Newport shipped three working prototypes from the company’s California plant to Washington for federal officials to review.
Dr. Frieden, who ran the C.D.C. at the time, got a demonstration in a small conference room attached to his office. “I got all excited,” he said. “It was a multiyear effort that had resulted in something that was going to be really useful.”
In April 2012, a senior Health and Human Services official testified before Congress that the program was “on schedule to file for market approval in September 2013.” After that, the machines would go into production.
Then everything changed.
The medical device industry was undergoing rapid consolidation, with one company after another merging with or acquiring other makers. Manufacturers wanted to pitch themselves as one-stop shops for hospitals, which were getting bigger, and that meant offering a broader suite of products. In May 2012, Covidien, a large medical device manufacturer, agreed to buy (https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20120501006724/en/Covidien-Completes-Acquisition-Newport-Medical-Instruments) Newport for just over $100 million.

Maybe I should have said "is not learned". I cannot conceive how anyone with even a smattering of science could entertain most of these conspiracy theories. I wasn't trying to belittle science teachers - but the issue seems to be that despite the science that is taught at most schools, and has been for probably a hundred years, there is still a large proportion of the adult population who regularly demonstrate that they have no understanding of it.

No, 5G won't fry your brains... too many targe.... er, people lack them. Rather, it damages the heme in your red blood cells, reducing their capacity to carry oxygen. Net result is.... hypoxia, and from there it's downhill all the way. Hydrixyquinone (Plaquenil) goes a way to rectify the damage, as well as 'attracting' zinc into cells..and zinc disrupts viral repeoducing.
But most likelely , Plaquenil like many meds is made in ....... China.

And, as pointed out by Norman Swan yesterday, hydroxyquinone, as well as potentially counteracting some of the effects of the virus, its deleterious effects on the heart (long known) amplify the virus' bad effects on the heart.
While the drug is made in China, and probably India, it is an old drug, its manufacturing techniques are well known, and I understand its patents have expired, so if it proves to be useful, it could be very rapidly put into production almost anywhere.

I don't need ANZAC day to remind me of Australia's losses & skirmishes in all wars we were involved in.
I have a 13 Sqdn Air crew photo on my wall where I sit, of my Late Uncle John of 13 Sqdn Hudsons shot down by a Zero Fighter a couple of days after Japan entered the war, over the Celebes Sea, North of Australia. The plane [A16-67] went down on fire & his report back to base of this was the last that was heard from the AC. It was a bad day for 13 Sqdn with a number of Hudsons being shot down. This incident was included in the RAAF Official History & he gets a special Mention.
He was 21 years old. He had been in Adelaide's 27th Scottish Regiment but transferred to the RAAF. He was a Wireless Air Gunner on the Hudson
Alongside of his photo, I have one of my late Dad, Australian Army WO2 who never saw active service as he was apparently too valuable to send overseas him being a Motor Vehicle Instructor [Mechanical & Driving] He went North to Cairns & Townsville & elsewhere.
He was in the very early Citizen Military Forces prior to WW2.
I also remember those Uncles that served overseas & islands north of Australia (New Guinea etc ) in Egypt with the RAAF & Army
I also remember my late Father in Law [MBE WO1] who was at Dunkirk & then with the return to Europe on D.Day with REME. Prior to WW2 he was involved with setting up the big guns at various Forts in Singapore. (I used to take the mick out of him for facing those guns the wrong way [smilebigeye]). He had joined the Royal Artillery as a Boy Soldier when an early teenager & his Father was also in the RA.
Post War he was attached to the Kings Troop, Royal Horse Artillery at St Johns Wood where the 6 Pdr guns were kept for the Royal Salutes in Hyde Park. London. 'er indoors still has his Medal Bar complete with the MBE. Have been to see 'The Ride' in Hyde Park twice as guests of the Troop for HM the Q's Birthday which is a fantastic display of Horse Teams with riders galloping on with Limbers & Guns, then the Dismount, the Royal Salute with guns, the Remount & gallop, back to Barracks. Well, maybe not all the way & today they are based at Woolwich [Arsenal] which was the Royal Artillery Barracks & St Johns Wood has been sold for housing.[smilebigeye] A quaint note. The Hats pictured on their website can also used as buckets for watering their horses & for loose feed. Salutes can be anywhere between 21 Guns to 62 guns fired depending on the occasion.
The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery | The British Army (https://www.army.mod.uk/who-we-are/corps-regiments-and-units/royal-artillery/the-kings-troop-royal-horse-artillery/)
Personally I have other direct relatives who joined up with the Australian Army in 1915/16 Six brothers went to France & four were killed two at Polygon Wood & elsewhere, the other two returned to South Australia to assist with running the family Market gardening/orchard business at Lenswood. Their names are on a monument there which was renovated 2 years ago as it had all got a bit overgrown & desolate.
So, I have a lot to think about tomorrow & I won't be standing at the driveway entrance with a candle or lamp 300m away but will be remembering them as I normally do each year. Not sure how I think about that, whether it is more bollocks creeping in to Australian Remembrance Services or not, or simply because of theCovid-19 situation. But I will be thinking about John, Fred. Gerry & other relations as well as the Lenswood Eglinton Brothers & the debt Australia owes them.

BINGO ! [smilebigeye]
I couldn't get over how crisp and crunchy an apple was fresh off the tree. Jonathons then.
They would have watered the orchard in those days so the fruit would have entered the room with moist interiors.
The aim of course was to retain that moisture.
The crunchy bit may have also been due to the Super Heat settings of the TEVs to maintain the room humidity & how well the Service bloke [me] [bigsmile1] had set them.:TakeABow:
Humidity was checked by a run of the mill Sling Psychrometer.
Bacharach 0012-7043 Sling Psychrometer, Celsius Scale (https://www.globaltestsupply.com/product/bacharach-0012-7043-sling-psychrometer?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI1PT_7qKD6QIV1w0rCh1 YQg2uEAQYAiABEgK8JvD_BwE)
Any moisture that was extracted from the fruit was simply drained back onto the floor & very little was allowed to escape from there. That was picked up & recirculated by the Forced Ventilation effect of the Cooler fans. The construction of the room included an external Vapour seal which helped as well & because it was a Low Temperature Room, that stopped condensation.
Maybe some rooms used a Humidifier to keep the moisture level up. I think we aimed for about 90% RH with a room temp about 0c by just using the SH method
Have not kept in touch with today's Fruit Storage construction & storage methods but Humidity was paramount to stop fruit shrinkage /weight loss etc but I don't think it would have changed all that much, just a bit more scientific, especially with CA [Controlled Atmosphere] rooms.
I always enjoyed entering a Fruit Store because of the odour. A lovely pong.
One of the best things about servicing these rooms was the owner usually saying "Grab a feed of Apples or Pears before you go" & he would chuck you a carton & start filling it.
Only had one cheapskate & that was down the road from Collins.[bigrolf]
Yes Collingrove, My Son in Law raced there as well. Not sure but I have a feeling it is closed now. Edited 25/04 Seems is still open or that is what Wiki tells me.

Cited that if a person is diagnosed with the Virus and then jumps off a cliff and kills themselves its recorded as a Virus death not death my misadventure or suicide. Also cited that a person who had terminal cancer also had the virus and died. Which condition caused the death? Whilst I dont know if that is true or not, I do find that old people ie 80+ who have been recorded as a Virus casualty, could well have had underlying symptoms of other medical issues, and when this virus is stacked on top its just the final straw and they slip over to the other side. While that is certinly a contributor to the number of recorded deaths to some extent, there are some much larger omissions from the counts - in most of countries, deaths are not counted as covid-19 unless there is a test, and in many places deaths at home or in nursing homes or in the street are unlikely to have been tested before death and also unlikely to have a test after death, as tests are still in short supply in most places. These numbers will be vastly greater than the ones who died "with but not from" covid-19.
In addition, in the absence of testing capability, many hospital deaths have been classified as "pneumonia", or sometimes "non-flu pneumonia" (because flu tests are readily available in most countries) which, because the numbers of these have increased greatly in the last three months in many places, are likely to be covid-19.
In the UK in particular, so far the only listed deaths are those in hospital; the unusually high numbers of deaths in nursing homes have not been counted, although it is almost certain the majority of these are covid-19.

NOT doing thorough autopsies...and telling the Whole Truth about the findings... effectively muddies statistic waters... enabling govt and other vested interests to spin the numbers how they want.
Then there are other details, such as in the UK, it's official NHS policy to get the 'Oldies' OUT of hospital as quick as possible and back to the Nursing homes, or as one digruntled Doctor (GP) described, "COVID-19 incubators"
Nursing Home deaths are not always defined as COV - caused. Nor (always) are deaths at private residences.
Yet in the US, in some places, directives have gone out to record COV-19 as C.o.D if there's a reasonable suspicion... NO proper test needed. [bigwhistle]

But in the real world of molecular biology, the structure of the virus is regarded as pointing to a natural origin, not an engineered one. Which does not necessarily mean that it is not an escapee from a laboratory investigating dangerous zoonotic viruses that could lead to the next pandemic.
But neither does it mean that just because there is such a laboratory in Wuhan that it must be an escapee from there. After all, the laboratory is there because the danger of this sort of development exists.

Who really controls world events from behind-the-scene? Years of extensive research and investigation have gone into this massively documented work [Bloodlines of the Illuminati]. In almost 600 pages, Fritz Springmeier discloses mind-boggling facts and never before revealed truths about the top Illuminati dynasties. Discover the amazing role these bloodlines have played--and are now wielding--in human history, with family names such as Astor, DuPont, Kennedy, Onassis, Rockefeller, Rothschild, Russell, Van Duyn, and Krupp. You'll also learn of the secretive, Chinese Li family, which operates with impunity in the U.S.A. and around the world. Along the way you'll find out why President John F. Kennedy and actress Grace Kelly were killed; who created the United Nations; who controls the two major U.S. political parties; how the Rothschilds invented and control modern-day Israel; who secretly founded false religions such as the Jehovah Witnesses; and much, much more. All was very hush hush until recently( last few months) when the story of an ex- NSW or Vic Cop explained his theory about Kennedy's death. Cop's name was Mc Laren.
It did sound very plausible & it had been hidden that their own Secret Service Shooter was "the Marksman from the Book Depository "the culprit & was an accidental shot from the SS car behind with a newly acquired (by them) assault weapon.
He claims the SS Detail had been on the booze overnight, apparently proven.

I seem to recall it was going to be on one of the TV Channels so some of you may have seen it, but it was before the Covid business hit the streets so may have been overlooked

Not sure about the Kennedy statement though.

I had read that theory a few years ago as well and it goes a long way towards explaining Kennedy's death. Incompetence will almost always trump malice as the cause of an incident. I've been to Dallas and checked the area out but a mate of mine who was there for work (and is much more enthusiastic than me) reckons that there is no way that the published account of the incident makes sense.

Yep, heard about this one some time back, basically the ducks of inadequate weapons training, attitude (?) and plain misfortune lined up and... Plausible.

Here's a different one.. the current PAN DEMIC
We can understand the huge numbers of COV-19 deaths in Northern Italy, the most air-polluted place in Europe, where respiratory disease and death is abnormally higher at the best of times, and a substantial Chinese population / two-way air traffic with China - lots of textile mills owned by Chinese.
But New York is a stand-out, in that more age groups are falling off the perch, so what is in the water or air, or food - or NOT in the food - that makes them so vulnerable.?
Could it be too much high-tech medicine ? Like too many vaccinations - around 45 jabs by age 18 (and companies competing on price for the Vac. dollars... )
Background:- In the past, 50's and 60's, there was inadverdant contamination of Polio vaccine(s) with a monkey virus, SM40. Chances are, this was not the only one. Either then or later on.
Conspiracy Suggestion:- That this could be a retrovirus like XMVR, mouse virus, which was supposedly found in 65% of women suffering Chronic Fatigue, but less than 5% of women NOT afflicted. This virus could be spread by widespread (American) vaccine use and needs only it's partner in crime to annoy it into action.

Population density, some social factors (closeknit groups), a work system that effectively means you must go to work even if you are infectious, lousy medical support if your skin is the wrong colour.

On a par with 'US govt agency sub-contracts corona virus research to a Chinese lab, after same work is shut down in the USA'

The unholy alliance - Harmony Energy Consultants (https://www.harmonyenergyconsultants.com/web/en/mesiah-5.html)
A couple of things resonate, such as the desire to move us away from cash/physical money, and onto electronic - controlled by the banks - "money", and from local observations, this is working an absolute treat. At a local supermarket, nearly everyone uses cards. A check-out Chick commented on the fact I was the first to use cash that day...after 6pm.
And the Gardisil vaccination program. A Headmaster friend mentioned in passing, that they'd been approached to jab the kids... he rejected the idea, after doing his own due diligence..
Have since found neither of my Doctors 'hard-sell' that or the 'flu vaccine unless the patient insists.
- They boast their practice has the lowest 'vaccine adverse-effects' in the district.
