I am looking at getting an EGR Delete and possibly a remap if possible for my Range Rover Sport L320 3.0L Diesel MY2013, at 100K now and really starting to worry about all the **** going into the engine.
I have been in touch with Bell Auto Services UK and apparently their remap doesn't have an EGR Delete for the 3.0L Diesel. Autocode in Perth can do the work but it means taking out the ECU and posting it to Perth for the work to be done, not a fan of this option.
This afternoon i heard back from British & European Motor Works (Castle Hill, NSW) they can do an EGR Delete and a Green Tune for $1295.

Not sure if anybody has any comments or feedback on this company to share.

Thanks in advance.

Check with Davis Performance Landys. They copy the existing map one day, send it to the UK then get it back overnight and load a modified version the next day.

Bruce Davis thought that they could do my 4.4 too but I haven't yet asked that he confirm it before I book the job. Another workshop reasonably close to me gave a price for doing the same thing after confirming that they can do it but their price was more than double DPL's normal price.

Thanks Justin. I haven't had mine done yet because I want the PCM to be upgraded to the latest level first (asked the local LR dealer 3-4 times) and I don't want to loose the ability to wander around at 1000-1200 rpm. It would be great if you can get to confirm that there is no loss of smoothness at these revs.

Yes I am loving that 1000rpm lope, too. I am still tempted to 860Nm flash mine, but sanity suggests while using this thing for towing and getting amazing performance and fuel economy I should be sympathetic towards that 8hp70...

Im wanting to sort the egr’s on my 2012 sdv6 twin turbo. i start by asking has anyone tried fooling the air intake temperature sensor. On my 3.2d pajero...... sorry. Once the engine ecu saw the air temp was over 40 degrees it shut the egr itself. I did this by fitting a in line resister to the loom near the maf sensor. something to do with the ecu trying to protect engine from overheating when it think outside temp was high so not wanting to breath old hot exhaust gas too. Just a idea to put out there.

Anyway in a nut shell. What are my opions for the LR. Thanks
