Picked up a tdv6 not long ago and working through rwc items. Came across issue with windscreen wipers. Pull stork down ,should be one wipe but may go for 3 or 4 and then stop where it pleases. Low and high speed function untill they decide to stop anywhere and thats the end of it . No operation at all in any position untill ign is turned off and on again. May have had a new screen recently as there is another rain sensor surround in the glove box.
Have gap tool but not vin to this yet.

Update. IIGAPBT now vinned to the RRS wipers came up with this fault .wiper park switch fault.Easy removed wiper assy removed cover plate to park switch but found all intact. Bench tested and I do get a earth signal in park position when wipermotor is running. So my guess is faulty wiring or junction plug. Anyone have a pin configuration for the BCM to trace my wiring.

Thanks Grappler found same on the net last night. Decided to go hunting. Tested the park wire at the rain sensor behind mirror . So that tells me break must be inside cab rarther than engine bay . So out with the fusebox and central junction box . Man what a headache. Unplugged 3 plugs on front and 2 plugs to the rear .but one of the rear literally fell out. Plug number 584. Bingo.
I will reassemble tomorrow and fingers crossed.

Ok wipers sorted. Seems the plug locking clip has been broken and the fusebox wasnt firmly bolted to the body which didnt help. Problem was the plug is at the back of the fusebox /central control box . Anyhowwwww. Managed to drill and pin the locking lever and locked into place with cable tie.
HAPPY DAYS. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190604/3dfb1cf15d52309397f4b4eb47cf562a.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190604/fa4ac5b7bac0c775c0d55684e671cf80.jpg
