Hi All
Me again. One more question about my new Disco 4...……The sat nav.....yes I hear you all saying that its no good and to buy a Tom Tom instead [biggrin]
I have seen online for $195 you can purchase a disc from LR but it doesn't say it has any updated features, just new roads have been added.
What I would like to know is, are there any updates for it I'm not talking just roads but stuff like traffic, speed cameras etc? Who actually makes this Sat Nav that's in the Disco 4?
For a vehicle of this cost, one would expect a fully functioning Sat Nav in it, on the weekend, I took it away for the first time and ended up using my phone because it was routing me crazy ways?
Is there an aftermarket update perhaps that would bring it from a 1990's Sat Nav back to at least the model year of the car 2014...….lol

Appreciate any replies once again
Barry

This thread pretty well covers it. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/l319-discovery-3-and-4-a/257837-disco-4-aus22-map-update.html?257837=#post2760462

FWIW, the Land Rover Australia - In-car GPS Upgrades for Australia and New Zealand - powered by TomTom® maps (https://landrover.navshop.com.au) site told me last week they have an update coming next month. The Aus 22 is all they have offered for at least the last 2 years. Still won’t have speed limits and cameras of course.
