Well with the price of fuel and the general cost of living on the rise, I have excepted a job to start next week back to work.

Thanks Mick. Looks like it will be with an electrical wholesaler call REXEL. I have 2 offers at the moment just trying to choose the right one.

You do get that thought from time to time :wink: .

The inlaws have stepped up to the plate and are looking after the kids for the most part with a bit of day care aswell. I wouldnt go back to work with out the inlaws helping, 4 children in care 5 days a week $30,000 NETT a year.

Thanks for your good wishes, I will be based at REXEL Electrical * Acacia ridge (close to home *NOT*). SO if anyone needs gear at a good price let me know :wink:

Hmm let me see, remember what works like. AH yes 8.30am - 5.00pm 5 days a week or I could stay at home and work 5.00am - 8.00pm 7days a week :roll: .

I wonder witch one pays better :wink:

Good luck with it mate, I look forward to work after having all the bratskies over a weekend let alone fulltime 8O. See if they will upgrade the falcon to a D3 :wink: ,

8:30AM sounds like a lazy start to me, wish I couls start that late https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

I get up at 5AM, on the site by 6AM til about 3PM I guess or wheneather we are happy with what stage we're up to.

Still, bakers hours are a killer :x :x :x

Perks are good, the last company I worked for flew me to the Clipsal 500 6 times, Phuket, China, Hamilton Island, New Zeland and Bali.

I hope I can do the same with this company. :wink:

That's why I hope my kids (or I) move well away when they have kids. There's no way I wnat to look after any kids when I retire.

Sold the Monaro and bought the wife a new HSV R8 Clubsport, 6 months after that we found out our 4th child was unexpectly going to arrive so sold the R8 and bought our 2nd Discovery. So I knew what power loss I was in for :wink: , Selling the R8 and resigning my job meant the money from the R8 had to buy 2 cars so we bought a A3 Audi 1.8 turbo. It would have given the R8 a it of a scare.

Cant say I remember you but I am sure if I saw your face I would.

I do miss the Monaro :cry:.


It ended up running a 10.30 @ 129mph 1/4mile before I sold it. Gotta love the NO2
