Now it wasn't a big crash, and I caused it, and unfortunately for the other party - it reinforced the LR brand strength and safety.
Let me start by saying
 8O  8O :?
Just around the corner from work, yesterday, admiring a mate's Series 3 I just had lunch with, and a million miles away from concentrating on driving, I've dawdled across this intersection.

Then.. ****! 8O - that's a car about to go through the passenger side!! I barely had time to change down, accelerate, and brace. Then
<span style="color:red">[size=18]BANG</span>
He hit at a fair rate 45-60kph, with no brakes, the rear, I got shunted a bit sideways, and pulled over, he bounced and stopped.
He was a good bloke and really understanding, moreso than I probably would've been, if some numbnut had t-boned me! His 2 female passengers were a bit shaken. Made sure everyone was OK, checked his car and made sure everything was safe. This was his Mazda.

Luckily, his radiator, fan, wheel arch weren't folded in, so it was driveable. We checked out the Disco and this was it.

Unbelievable. One 2 inch gouge on the alloy, 2 nuts that are hammered that's it. Had it on the hoist shortly afterwards at TechnoBritish - everything straight, no twists, cracks, buckles anywhere!! Changed the wheel over and all good.
When the poor bugger came over and saw the Disco, he said "****, that's incredible, I should drive a Land Rover"
I said "or look out for w*nkers that can't"!!
The Good:
No one injured
Both cars still mobile
That guys understanding nature
The Bad:
My driving
My inconveniencing the poor bugger
Mazda construction
The Ugly
$350 excess
My next insurance premium
