had to do my first oil change on the new green machine,,
everything nice and oil free!!!
(makes a change  )
just in front of the filter is a small plastic splash guard, which I took off to allow easier filter removal,,
when it came time to replace the guard I did the centre self tappers up first then looked at the sides---
hmmm, not a great fit, seems to be a big lip at the ends,,
no wonder one of the end screws was missing,,
but if I turn the guard upside down--
the nice washer indents will be raised bulges????
am I missing something here?

dunno...you just confused me......
bring it round and i will look at for you if you like.....
or just take a couple of pics.....but with those things its best not to tighten
anything till all screws are in place.....
i used to make a cut out in them under the oil filter....
this allowed the oil filter to be changed without having to remove the tray....
and without making a mess all over the tray......
then the boss found out and got a bit upset with me.....

lazy....?
it took more effort to find the saw and cut the hole than to remove a few screws...
the time saved was on the next service...... https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
