Defender Rims. Which Ones?

Just brought some 2nd hand Muddies and they come with a set of rims. Steel SAS Rims 16 x 6 1/2. I also have a set of Sunraisers witch are 16 x 7.
The biggest tyres I will put on are 255/85/16 which set should I keep as the I don't need both and why?

Keep the real ones Iggy!!!
Ive never seen a sIII or Defender suffer from rim failure,useing the genuine tyre rim,solid or sloted(SAS or WOLF latter type)
Just travel the long ways to kununurra and white spoke rims litter the
track sides.
They do make handy portable fire places,with three or four legs welded on.

Just as a footnote - behind my shed is genuine original wheel from the 110 with a split along the bottom of the well for about a third of the circumference. No history of damage, just failed at about 150,000km. The others are still OK at about 400,000km.

IMO... Get rid of those white ones. I've found that they never sit properly on the hub as they're too loose a fit.

That's just like the one of mine, except mine went a lot further before the tube blew. Was while my wife was in Melbourne by herself and I was overseas.

I suspect a quality control problem, probably in the heat treatment. I suspect these wheels are Australian made - if so, not a good advertisement for Australian industry.
Nothing to do with Landrovers, but last year my son had four out of five wheels crack (one actually failed while driving) on his Kia Rio before they had a recall.

Since then I have had a close look at the wheels and can't see anything on them except the part number and size - unlike the S3 wheels I have that have an Australian supplier name on them - so maybe these are UK ones as well.
