Sydney - Pre-purchase Inspection

I've been waiting to pull the trigger on a Puma Defender 90 for a while now and there's a few around that fit my budget and one in particular that has me interested.

Unfortunately, it's located in Sydney and I'm either in Brisbane or Melbourne depending on the month and, to be honest, although I can obviously check for leaks and the obvious rust spots, interior condition, etc... I'd rather get someone who knew the Puma well to take a look for me.

I've tried the guys at Roving Mechanical, but they said they don't go roving anymore and just work out of the shop.
I've searched the forum and found a number for Ian Best, but that was 10 years ago.

Does anyone know a good LR mechanic who can check out the car for me and give me a rundown?

Is it for sale at a dealer?
If so ask them to get it inspected by a LR Indi.

No unfortunately, private sale.

I'll get a Redbook/NRMA inspection in the worst case scenario, but I'd really prefer a LR mechanic to check it out.

Looks like it sold already! Geez, I knew it looked too good to be true.
Next time I'll trust my gut and pull the trigger.

Having said that, if anyone knows anyone wanting to sell a clean relatively low KM (maybe white?) 2.2L Puma Defender anywhere on the East Coast, let me know!
I've been around online car forums (mostly Lexus/Toyota) long enough to know that buying from forum members is often a great way to get a really nice example of a pre-loved car.
