They were doing a story on the Mine rescue competition,they had you doing a short interview.
How did you go,hope you won.

Andy,
Yeah my 10 seconds of fame, in the paper three times this week as well. Was a long hard fortnight training and a great couple of days. We were a new team and finished 8th overall out of 16 teams. Really good for a new team (2nd best new team). Our team was fairly inexperienced so it was a good result, seeing as we beat some teams with a lot of experienced members. Captaining the team was a different experience and very daunting seing as it was only my second competition competing, a big step up. Regardless of the results I know the team of guys and one young lady gave 110%. The adjudicators comments were really good and somehow I got a lot of great comments regarding my captaincy (even though I know I stuffed a couple of things).
