Mongoose VT900 problem

Hi I got a Mongoose VT900 GPS tracker installed in my 2008 Puma and appears to be functioning well navigation wise but its droping the battery from 12.7volts to 12.32 volts in 7 hours????? (from Volt meter reading and CTEK app) Battery is 800CCA and has 95% SOH.
I think? I have set it up to only send a signal every 24 hours wh en stopped but really puzzled as I read they dont draw much current when not active.
any tips clues appreciaed thanks
