I know this gets discussed a lot, but courtesy of my older brother we can finally express it in straight forward terms.
2.7l TDV6: will tow a large van
3.0l TDV6: will tow a large van with the van park brake applied

Lol. Good, plain English explanation. Thanks!
How about the difference between a 3.0 TDV6 and a 3.0 SDV6?

Id be more worried about what transmission is behind the motor than the motor itself.
The latter 8 speed being the one to have.

An advantage to the 2.7 TDV6 is that you can remap the engine for more power/torque and better fuel economy, and do an EGT patch to disable it.

If you want to go this way that’s also possible with the 3.0ltr engines.

Apparently the high temp alarm on the TPMS worked!
