It’s coming up to 100k and has started knocking dealership has quoted me $1800 seems like a lot of cash who in Melbourne is good and what should it cost at an independent. Should I be buying the parts required online? Any recommendations.
cheers

They do charge over $200 an hour,so not over the top at their hourly rate.

But I wouldn’t go near them,a good Indy is the go.

My 2014 D4 needed it's 3rd set of LC Arms after 120K.

Took it to Pedder's for some "poly" bush replacement so I never need to replace them again!

$1005 - kits (front and rear of the arm) always in stock and took them till just after lunch. He indicated he's doing several LR's a month.

The only difference I can tell is tighter steering response...which is a good thing?

Is that just for the bushes or new arms as well ? I hope they are a soft compound and not their own poly bushes.

Just the bushes. not sure about the compound.

There is a little more road noise with my Goodyear tyres on smooth roads, but the ride over rough roads is much better.

Around $1500 at my Indie, including everything, and genuine arms. They won't use anything else, and going by reports on here its the only way to go.

Mine lasted a bit of 80 thousand K,are only just starting to knock on one side, and the vehicle has done heaps of corrugation K's.

Strange how some last a lot longer than others.

I need to do my LCA's again. I have the original arms and want to buy genuine bushes and have someone press the bushes in and fit the arms.

Can I get recommendation on where to go for this in Melbourne. I'm happy to drive to them but east of city would be preferred.

thanks
