The Canberra represented a massive change in flight with the ability to fly UK / Australia in 24 hours when other aircraft were taking 4 or 5 days to do the same journey.

Quite a step up for a Lincoln pilot to the Canberra.

Puts Qantas reducing the UK /Australia trip time from 24 to 18 hours in perspective.
