Last Tuesday I went to surgery for a total knee replacement, after having broken it at work by a 180Kg ram 12 months ago. Today I drove the tractor and the Rover (not on the road, verboten for 6 weeks I understand). I'm over the moon with how fast I'm regaining function. I went for my first(brutal[bawl]) physio session yesterday and was measured with 110 degrees of bend. I still have much work to do, but I'm delighted with progress so far.

By the way, the red racing socks are grippy and for stair climbing practice

I'm not sure red white & blue should be worn together. Very patriotic for sure, but possibly not good dress sense.[biggrin]

I hunted everywhere for those grippy socks way back after one of my 'orsepiddle sojourns but it seems unless you know someone in the know they are very light on the ground/floor, if you get my drift.

Speaking of socks, I was issued some pressure socks after an Op & told by the Sturgeon to wear them at all times. Stoopid nurse told me I didn't need them & shoved them in the waste bin from which they had to be retrieved.

Going in to hospitals can sometimes be the death of you.[bigsad]

I trust you will mend quickly.

Glad the operation went well, but don't get impatient and rush your recovery, give it time to heal and fully recover.
Lovely matching dress and socks BTW, you just need a feather bow and a purple wig. [emoji16]
