Hi
Anyone has fit this or know if Pioneer SPH-C10BT can be fit to replace the original headunit on D2 2000? Thanks

I can't see why not. That said some things to check:
check that the phone cradle extends out far enough so that the phone doesn't foul the lip of the dash above the stereo.
the unit doesn't appear to have steering wheel control functionality so if you have them fitted to your disco then you won't be able to use them if you fit this unit.
you'll also need to check the car's audio wiring to see what plugs it has. The update D2a has ISO plugs so you just need to buy a pioneer-ISO wiring adaptor and you're good to go. I seem to recall earlier D2's used another plug type so worth checking.
Cheers

I have an MHV something or other Pioneer head and I just used an ISO connector in the '02 to hook it up.
Most of the those factory plugs aren't used.
It works fine, the phone and Spotify work well.

I recently fitted a pioneer head unit to my 2000 D2, and purchased the pioneer to ISO loom. The guy at Autobarn where I purchased the headunit from was extremely helpful.

Hi Matt
Yes the lower 2 plugs are ISO ones.
The 3 at the top according to the link below are for the high end audio system and are used for the CD changer, headphones and possibly an external amp.

SPH-C10BT - Pioneer (https://www.pioneer.com.au/shop/car/sph-c10bt/)
It's a single DIN unit so yes, it will fit.
In addition to what is already mentioned above, the other issue you may find is that unlike the picture on the manufacturers website where the headunit is angle mounted, the D2 dash mounts it with the face vertically and lowish - this results in reduced visibility for screens that can't be angled back.
Also, depending on which spec audio system your D2 has depends on if the universal ISO adapters will work. If you've got a factor amplified then it's more complicated as they're a low level input which usually is RCA connectors but the factory loom uses normal wires - if you put a high level input into it you may cause damage. There's other threads with information on this already if this is applicable in your case.

Thanks for the info. Mine has factory amplifier. Anyone has any experience how to do it if there is factory amplifier?

Yes, a number of us have. If you read my post above that you've quoted, I've already mentioned that there's a few threads about it with all the details and instructions you need to do it properly. Searching will help you locate them.

I found this in one of the old thread
“When purchasing a New head unit ensure the unit has at least 2 channels of pre-outs (L&R front and rear) rca plug outputs as with the high line system you will only be connecting these to C0092 connector. Don't connect the new head unit speaker outputs. No additional or replacing wiring necessary”
Is that what I need to do? Connect the 4 pair wires onto 2 rca preout?
Thanks

Essentially, yes. But to two pairs of RCA preouts and you’ll need to add RCA connectors to the relevant wires in the factory wiring loom.

I got iso harness aerpro app9pio8. The tech at autobarn told me to use this. I connect the 4 pair wire to rca but I got terrible sound so I connect it as is using pioneer iso harness. The radio works fine but I couldn’t get any sound if using other source like Bluetooth audio etc. any idea?
TIA

Likely fine that the factory wires don’t all align perfectly to ISO specs. Might be the remote on for the factory amp that needs to be changed around. If you take a look at my fairly recent Alpine Halo 9 installation thread I believe I had to do one thing like this and documented it in there to help others.

Found this on thread. Which wire on iso that used by factory amp? The harness I can only find blue wire. No blue and white. Can we other wire to turn on the amp? Red wire? (I assume is 12v)

It should be pretty easy to figure out when you compare to your Rave wiring diagram and new head units wiring details in the manual.

Opened the mobile cradle on the headunit and suddenly I got sound for Bluetooth audio. Strange but I am happy that finally got it working.
