TF220 and TF220HD extended/longer Anti Roll Bar Links

Haven't seen these mentioned before on here and didn't come up in a search. Longer extended Anti Roll Bar Links for the D2 when lifted.

There seems to be two version: Terrafirma TF220 and Meyle Heavy Duty version TF220HD.

No details on how much longer they are than standard. All four look to be the same length despite the standard ones being longer in the front than the rear.

Currently I run front link pins on my rear after one of the Les Richmond Automotive White Tiger suspension dropped brackets broke. I've also spaced the front link pins 10mm or so.

I ordered the Meyle Heavy Duty version TF220HD version. What was included is four links:
2x RBM500190HD
2x RBM100223HD

The RBM100223HD is the same part number as the standard front units just with HD on the end of it. Physically they are the same length as the standard units but they are beefier and visually shows that they're a HD version.

RBM500190HD links are longer than the RBM100223HD by approximately 40mm.

In standard spec, the front links are longer than the rear, so I assume therefore the supplied front links (RBM100223HD) are meant to be used on the rear now and the others (RBM500190HD) on the front which will mean that both end up extended.

For anyone else going down this route, you could potentially save by just ordering two RBM500190HD, fit these to your front and fit your current front links to your rear.

A little bit of research indicates that part number RBM500190 is for a Land Rover Discovery 3 - also known as LR014145 part number. So all this 'extended/longer' kit is doing if fitting the longer Discovery 3 links on the front of the D2 and the longer front D2 links on the rear of the D2. There's no custom parts (which is a good thing for both cost and ease of replacement). If you don't want/need the HD version you can get the standards for cheaper.


I assume that the cheaper TerraFirma kit offered (TF220) is just the same but with standard (non-HD) links included).

Just purchased some D3 front links and the are only about 25mm longer. The shaft length of the factory D2a front is 185mm and the factory D3 is 210mm. They will fit though.
