Looks very similar to the German "Grease Gun". Schmeisser?? Maybe they nicked the design? Or maybe OZ did since it was designed in 1938[smilebigeye]

It suddenly hit me about it's name, Austen = "Australian Sten" & nothing to do with Pommy Cars. [biggrin] Slow? Me?[biggrin]
