The specs for the 110 state it has a maximum coupling point/noise weight of 150kgs. How can you tow 3.5t with that?

That’s UK spec only,D4 was the same.
Yes it’s a bit wired,it will be rated at 350kg for Aus.

Does anyone else wonder why if it can carry 350 in OZ why it cant do it anywhere else??

Most jurisdictions around the world do have a 350kg ball weight like us, and they use tow bars like ours - it is mainly Europe and the UK that have the lower ball weight and their swan neck tow bar that has a lower rating than out reciever/hitch system.

Because we use the haymond reece system.
In Europe they use that awful looking thing.

ahh the good old bath report,,
at no time was anything towed that weighed more than 1500kgs
and why would they? no 3.5T mobile Apartments in England...( gotta have granite benchtops)

Anyone confirmed 350 ball weight for new defender?, they should mention in specs its 350 if slide on hitch optioned.

You are aware the previous Defender didnt have a 350kg ball weight....

No i wasn't mate, but I am aware Discovery 5 when it has the upgraded tow hitch from the factory is 350 so I imagine the vendor will be similar.

From my dealer Saturday 350kg.They're waiting on a certification that is all
