A couple of months ago I started working for what is basically a sheetmetal shop, ( I'm a heavy fabrication welder and I do the "heavier guage " jobs for them ) so I've decided to make a fancy stainless/aluminium induction set-up for the Rangie. I have changed the standard twin Stromberg set-up for a new intake manifold with a Holley and at this point have no air cleaner/snorkel or any type of intake at all....yet.
....so what I'm looking for is some pics or ideas for a fancy, you-beaut, hi-tech intake system....

Have a look at webcon.co.uk
Amnd if you do make something, post some pics, as I'm thinking of doing something similar.

Thats a tough one, all of the really cool induction systems have a different port layout to the Rover V8.

Sounds like you are intending an outside cool air intake system taking outside air through an air cleaner to the carb. Have a look at the fresh air intake on a CM Valiant. Maybe even use the top of a CM air cleaner with a newly fabricated base plate to fit the Holley. Possibly plumb it back to the plenum chamber in the firewall.

Thanks for the replies, but I've got the carb and manifold, what I'm looking for is the fancy air filter cover and pipework to a snorkel type set-up.

You'll need the holley efi carb hat and then you're going to need something like a D1 airbox and mod a D1 snorkel or similar.
You will need to fab /purchase your own ductwork.
