Just in case you were wondering if they actually went faster---
The 1TB is the PLUS...
The 250 is 50% full, the other over 70,,

250G vs 1TB is not remotely a fair fight. The bigger the drive the greater number of dies and therefore parallelism. You can't do an apples for apples when you are comparing an apple and a grape.

Built my son his PC(supposedly for running his graphics/modelling/animation software! [bighmmm]) and got it a 1Tb Adata XPG SX8200Pro.
It's read speeds are 3,073!! [bigsmile] but write speed is at 1946 .. running CrystalDiskMark.
Fantastic speed for the $s paid for it. Highly recommended.
Windows 10 bootups(including the plethora of startup flotsam he runs for his games and crud) .. roughly 15-20sec!

My lowly 250GB Samsung 950 M.2 reads at about 1300, and writes at 1000. And I used to think that reboots in 30sec was fast.

fast alright!
Price not too horrendous too, being in the low $300's
Had to keep sons build to a budget tho, the Adata was about $100 less

I’m having great success with Sabrent Nvme units.
And so damn cheap!

Made for a cheap upgrade in a MBP too.

It'll be interesting to look at that benchmark after a couple of years use.

I have a 1TB Samsung 960Pro that started out at full speed, and after 2 years of use had degraded to ~300MB/s sequential write and ~1200MB/s sequential read.
Had to do a couple of full drive wipes to get it back to as-new speed.

Apparently a known problem with the 960s on non-Windows OS (more specifically not using the Samsung NVME driver that does some funky house-keeping in the background apparently) but one that doesn't show itself until the drives are well used. The reviews and benchmarks never pick this stuff up.

I'm seriously considering replacing the 960Pro with a 970Evo plus.
