Tyre Life Question

Hello all, I have a tyre question.
I am needing to get new tyres form my defender, I currently have hankook ATs on, they were cheap compare the the set the replaced which were BFG KM2, I took them off with 50% on them as all I was doing was motorway driving and wearing them out.

Anyway the question is, I have had the BFG KM2's stored under my house for around 4 years, would they still be good to use?

You can most likely get away with putting the 50% old tyres back on but in all seriousness after about another 10000-15000they will be worn out anyway. The choice is yours run on a set of half worn and close to being unsafe tyres or buy set of new Decent tyres that will last you another few years/60000K's.

I have a vehicle with tyres that are more than 4 times older than that... [emoji6]

I am replacing them though

BFG, particularly, get hard with age,and then aren't much fun on wet black top.

Don't ask me how i know....

You could put them on, then,be careful,see how you go.
