Soft Dash - Center Dash Panel

Hi All,

The center panel that holds the radio and heater controls on my soft dash RRC is severely damaged due to old age and needs to be replaced. I've assessed the following options:

- Replace with D1/D2 unit but they are different and don't think I can modify it so it looks ok
- I have contacted Kingsley in the UK and they don't have any
- Contacted Congleton Service in the US and apparently they are working on getting them re-manufactured, but can't give me a date when this will be.


I have considered gluing it all together but I am not very confident that this will be successful and is not a long term fix.

Does anyone have any other ideas how I can get this fixed?

The Softie is pretty much a late model D1, or even a D2 depending on what part you need.

As far as I seen with my Softie the only difference between the Softie and the D1 is the upper dash (the soft part) everything else is D1.

It shouldn't be hard to find interior parts for it. You might just have to scourer the wreckers to find what you need.
