After having my 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 SE serviced by NRMA I reset the "Service Required" message using the following procedure I found on the web.

1. Turn the ignition on. Open the bonnet. Then open the driver's door
2. Depress the brake and accelerator pedal completely and hold for 60 seconds. Release the pedal. Turn off the ignition. Turn the ignition on and check that the service message is off.

Since then I have noticed that the low fuel indicator does not come on. Today the distance to empty was 75km.
How do I turn this back on?
What else have I reset using the procedure above?

I don't think you would have disabled the low fuel warning by resetting the service reminder.

The low fuel warning light is on a separate circuit and not run off the trip computer distance from empty.

Maybe the tank just didn't get low enough to trip the low fuel warning.

Does the light come on for a second when you turn on the ignition? If it does I wouldn't sweat it.

But you could have it checked with a decent diagnostic scan tool if it is worrying you.

I ran the tank down last week and it got to 53km to empty before the low fuel alert popped up so I guess everything is OK.
