I had to replace the worn out radius arm bushes while in this process I changed the panhard rod bushes for peace of mind. Never thought that by doing this I would open a pandora box.

The 110 has developed a strong steering wobble that didn't exist with the old bushes.

I feel your pain. Had the same issue last year and no matter how tight I did them up the wobble was there around 80-90 km. You could drive through it and it was fine.

After a couple of hundred kms it fortunately went away without any further effort from me. Maybe just need to settle a bit. I have done several thousand kms since and no issue.

Hopefully yours will self cure as I have no other useful suggestions...

What did you replace the bushes with?
I had numerous issues with death wobbles on my Perentie 4x4 until I changed to poly bushes on the Pandard Rod.
No issues since then.

If such things were trouble free, it'd be called the pan-easy rod.

drivers (RH) side i run poly bush and passenger (LH)side i use genuine rubber bush

best setup i have found..

I was under the impression that rubber was the only way to go for a 4by. The rubber being more compliant, or tolerant of varying degrees of articulation etc etc..
The "thanes", being to rigid and not forgiving..

That used to be the case but modern rubber is not nearly as resilient as the older rubber was.
I've tried OEM, OE and aftermarket rubber panhard rod bushes and they last about 5000km before the wobbles return. The rubber breaks away from the inner sleeve.
Had the poly on for 10k km now and no issues.
Yes I have checked swivel adjustment, wheel bearings and tyre balance. Made no difference. Change both bushes and bolts and the problem went away.
I believe that worn Pitman arm splines can also cause the wobbles. Mine seems ok though.

The wobbles are almost certain to reflect free play somewhere in the suspension. Get somone to wiggle the steering hard while you look at every joint, including ones you have not rebushed such as tie rod ends - the new bushes will have slightly changed the steering geometry, allowing other issues to have more effect.

Some issues I would consider - grooves worn in the shoulders that clamp the panhard and radius arm bushes; steering box bolts loose; pitman arm loose; worn bolts on panhard and radius arm bushes; Bolts tightened before full weight was on the wheels leading to almost immediate bush failure;

There are two sizes of Panhard bush, a 14mm and a 16mm, ensure you haven't accidentally fitted the wrong one.

When it comes to poly Panhard bushes Ive had most success with superpro branded ones. The UK brand ones are trash.

And as mentioned above the steering is a system, got to do everything in the system together.

make sure it isnt just a wheel balance / tyre issue

if it happens everytime you get to a certain speed and you havent hit a bump or pothole then it is more than likely wheel balance or a tyre issue...
