The driver and passenger were very lucky not to have gone over the 300ft cliff.

It held up surprising well. If you consider all the weight and gear that would be carried the outer shell survived extremly well.
If you're going to have a rollover...best you do it in one of these!!!
Cheers,
Lyndon.

3yrs ago on the first event, they stuffed one of the support Defenders good & proper... Maybe on the next running of the G4, they'll stick roll cages in the vehicles (like they did on the Camels).

PCH... In the UK, "The Sun" is regarded more as a comic than a paper... ;)

Serious accident and lucky people. They mentioned the 300ft drop but did not show any pics of it??

Like they said
The good build quality of the vehicle probably kept them from serious injury

the G4 vehicles for this year only have a dog guard in them, according to the website.
that's a bit lame, isn't it?

very lucky guys, I don't know if I would be driving if off in it like the article stated it could be, call me paraniod but rolled vehicles with supercharged engines with damaged fuel cells and lines
I'd get it towed just 2 b safe

Oi, Mr Philips, I disagree, the Sun is the best paper going, it`s perfect for taking a dump, just the right amount of tits and just enough content to kill 5-10 minutes of work time, any more and your legs would go to sleep when you stand up and head back to the office.
Congratulations to the editor, are in order.

Looking at the way the rear wheel was stuck up in the wheel arch i would dispute the claim that it could be driven away, but i am with you dobbo, i wouldnt be driving it. Matt
