Hi All,
looking at a 2012 Model to buy and it has digital TV. I know it’s mostly a gimmick but was wondering if it picks up the HD channels? I realise the screen doesn’t have the resolution to display full HD resolution but I would expect it to down convert it.
Also as some of you may be aware most of the TV stations changed their video encoding mechanism for HD channels a few yrs back and that’s why for some of the older first gen dig tv’s you only get the sound. I’m not sure if the tuner in the Range Rover has a mpeg4 (h.264) decoder or just the older mpeg2.
I played around with the controls for a bit but couldn’t quite work out how to change the channel....
curious...
