Hi All, just hit 25k and a message pops up and says service due which seems normal. I have had the care for 20 months and only had the 3 month checkup, maybe around 3000km
I called Landrover to book it in and they told me it’s first service is only at 50k. Sounds crazy?? I called the following week because it wasn’t sitting right with me, spoke to someone else at LR and they told me the same thing. Help?

Have a look at your on line service history
Land Rover(R) Online Service History - Land Rover(R) Australia (https://www.landrover.com.au/ownership/service-and-maintenance/online-service-history.html)
For my SD4 its every 2 years, or 32000 km. I think 2 years is too long and get a basic oil and filter change every year

I wonder IF these D5 SD4's will survive to see 320,000 k,s after only 10 oil and filter changes?

Just dropped mine off for the 1st year service with 22000kms, only engine oil changed, everything else changed after 5 years, I did the engine oil sample and front diff which had a high metal reading at 14000 km and changed the engine oil and filter then, will now sample all ils and proceed to change all oils when I get car back, have asked them to supply me the recommended oil for all compartments.
going to see if I can do trans filter and oil as well not sure if D4 trans and D5 are the same? as I tend to keep cars for a long time D2 have had that for 20 years now,
