View Full Version : Need a pro for UHF install, amongst other electrical things

So I've done myself a mischief and busted my hand quite badly. Couple of broken and maimed fingers means I won't be doing anything requiring fine motor skills for a while.

Unfortunately, I've just bought a UHF radio/antenna combo and a winch.

Anyone have recommendations for an auto electrician between Brisbane and Ipswich?

I've already contacted a couple who won't even look at me because I've already bought the parts and just need an install.
"No job too small" they say... well, apparently only if you're sourcing everything from them, "warranty issues" they say, even though everything I bought has warranties via the company I bought it from and I'd only need him to warranty the work he actually performs, not the parts I supply...

With holidays approaching, I'm looking for a professional who doesn't mind that I'm supplying parts, or I'm going to have to do it with one hand and my teeth.
Once the winch is in, I'll know how much room there is left for driving lights and I also need my towbar wiring sorted from scratch.
So overall, quite a few things to get sorted... I'm at my wits end.

Not sure how far you want to travel
And I’m not a pro workshop

But would happily twirl some spanners and whirl some wire cutters for beer?
Have installed many UHF and winches (in defenders and other vehicles)

Have a bit of time over the lead up to Christmas?
