Trip to Horden Vale / Cape Otway from Melb - Buying Local Produce

Hi All,

We are going to Horden Vale over Christmas for a bit over a week and want to stock up on the way. Never been down there before so really looking forward to it.

We want to get some meat and pastries (sausage rolls etc to stick in the car freezer) as well as fruit and veg. Any recommendations?

We will be passing through on a Sunday too so some places wont be open. We will head down via Ballan, Meridith, Colac.

I had to look up Horden Vale to see where it was, when we were in Colac last there was some good priced butchers on the rd just out of town heading west.
Didnt have a fridge onboard otherwise i would have stocked up.
