It's been a while... like 4 yrs. Thankyou to "big Pharma" and an excellent GP and in good form. So I thought for Christmas I'd quietly subscribe and slip into a spare seat at the P38 table. Currently LR-less...GregH I hope the P38 is still gracing the highways and byways of Tasmania!
cheers

Hoges!!!!! So happy to hear you are still with us and even more so to hear you are well. You’ve just made my day!
My daily driver is an AWD ford territory diesel (work car) but I still have the Range Rover in my garage and it comes out occasionally to tow things or when I need a spare car. Funniest thing ever happened recently, my territory went into limp mode 3 times (fixed properly each time at substantial expense) and the third time my wife asked me to get rid of it and just drive the Range Rover because it is more reliable! The car is still running sweet, I bought a 2001 with slipped liners for parts but have hardly used anything from it, it just takes up a car port space. The bouncing door lock issue you chased was the drivers lock and I had to replace that.
I wanted to ring you years ago to check the service history and I thought your phone was disconnected and that you had lost the battle. So pleased to hear you are well and in this forum. I’ll pm you to ask your number.

Lucky for me, it was one of those rare occasions I was driving my p38 when I found a landcruiser 200 series towing a caravan broken down on one of the steepest hills on public roads in my city. The policeman wouldn't let me tow the whole lot up the hill in one hit so I had to make do with a simple deal. I'll tow you up the hill if I can have a photo!

Hi Greg
Thanks for the good wishes.
I was quite chuffed to see the Rangie is still "doing what Rangies do best"!
