Australia was told today on fox that we are exceeding our energy targets, they told millions of Australians this.

It's an accounting trick. We are counting excess credits in a way which no other country considers to be legitimate.
Put that trick aside and we will fall well below our target, which is pathetically low anyway.
Put another way, electricity emissions fell every one of the three years we had a carbon tax, and have risen every year since it was abolished.

I work in the apparent UKs green biomass industry and can say its anything but.........
For a start we are the worlds biggest importer of wood pellets.........

Bob the pellets are imported from The USA.
Look up DRAX.
DRAX produce at least 10% of UK electricity from imported wood pellets that are worse for pollution than coal , but are counted as "renewables" as the trees are renewable in what 50years. They convert existing coal fired power stations .
It a joke and a lie.

Are you sure they are counted as renewables. Not even Abbot would try to get away with that. It's reported that 48.5 % comes from renewables, 43% from fossil fuels, 8.5 % from Biomass & waste. Pellets would be biomass. surely?
