The Queen inspects the guard, Balmoral, 2018. Forgive me this indulgance, but I remember when the Naval Apprentices from HMAS Nirimba formed a Royal Guard, 100 strong, at Bathurst for the Queen, in the 60's. With that wonderful 303 rifle drill, It was said to be the best Naval guard for many a year. There seems to be something, when a Queens Guard is on Parade, that lifts the guard to a new level. Say what you like about the old girl, she demands respect. Check this Scots Royal Guard out, to see what I mean. Not as good as us, of course.

Their Officer did. Bloody typical![smilebigeye] On closer look, it almost seems as though the left rank pushed their right hand rank into the poo, so to speak. [ It's something we would have done]
