Hi all.
I went to my local Bob Jane today all set to purchase a new set of wheels and tyres.
I was amazed:eek: to find out that they can't get any aftermarket wheels for the Disco, they also said that in 98 the wheel offset and stud patern changed:confused: , if anyone knows about this I would appreciate some help.
I will try to find some S/Hand Landrover Alloys as long as they fit on the 98 model.
Thanks in advance,
Cheers Andy.

They sound like idiots  Ring around and see what you can find.
99 when the D2b was released was when the stud pattern changed. The earlier 5 stud Disco pattern there's several diffrent types out there on the aftermarket scene.
ROH make good rims for Discos, plus there Aussie made :) The standard rims are bloosdy good anyway IMO, steel and alloy.

Andy the diameter of the studs (PCD) changed with the Series II Disco (1999).
From memory the Series I Disco PCD was 125 mm and I've seen the offset as either 33mm or 140mm depending from which face it is measured I guess.
The Series II PCD is 165mm? offset I don't know.
Graeme Cooper in Sydney sells alloys for both.

Bob Jane isn't working hard enough for a sale

The offset for the D1 should be quoted as per the manufacturer, i.e., 33mm and which is embossed on the wheel.
For the D2, the offset is 57mm - the same as the P38A RR.
BTW, have a look on eBay, they often come up there. Quite frankly, I don't think any aftermarket wheels I've seen look as good as the genuine LR wheels. I sopmetimes wonder why people have replaced the OEM alloys with ugly aftermarket rims.

ring around some of the performance tyre and wheel places like Tempe Tyres in Sydney they import and modify all types of wheels for example i know of a 04 range rover getting around with 22" Chrome Vaults on it not sure of where it was done but Tempe would be a good start.

Thanks guys,
I do like the original Disco aloys and I think I will try to hunt a set down.
Over the next 8 months I will be traveling aprox 600Km a week, I was going to put good road tyres on the aloys as all the k's will be highway and all terains on the original steel rims for general off road.
Thanks again for your links and help.
Cheers Andy.
