Here's a map of the forest and campsites i will put a more detailed one soon, we were thinking that if Wattle Flat doesn't have many campers there we would camp there and have Nearby Farewell Flat which also offers facilities for camping along the river as a back up, as well as Pantons Point and Hyatts Flat, we are happy to have no facilities, if it's too crowded at Wattle and Farewell then we will camp at Pantons Point or Hyatts Flat.

We will put up a sign to notify anyone coming where we are.

Please let me know if you are coming on the June long weekend.

Hi db,

It is located about halfway between Kempsey (north coast) and Armidale (Northern Tablelands).

A handy NSW map link is this:

http://imagery.maps.nsw.gov.au/

You can search for localities...in this case Jeogla being the nearest town.

Ya found ya way 13,000 miles and can't find a forest 300 miles away:eek: ;)

It's 40 min east of Armidale and Whereisit.com is bloody useless, Travelmate is much better.

Only difference is that we will be going via Cessnock.

Use their travel planner. Its 800km for me so not sure yet.
If the truck is behaving and there is still money in the kitty I might be able to make it.
would be good to know peoples travel plans to see if I can maage to time it right.

Hey Redback, when do you plan to be going thru NetNock on your way up? I could meet you there or at Singo.

We are leaving Sydney about 3 or 4pm thursday arvo and staying somewhere along the way, probable at Lake Glenbawn near Scone, or Lake Lydell, then heading up from there.
