Morning all planing on replacing the brake pads on my 2.7 D4, question anyone using Bendix pads? I’ve used them on my Puma and had no issues so assuming all ok but always happy for suggestions also is it necessary to replace the sensors at the same time.
Cheers in advance

Get the ceramic versions if you can, not the 4x4 HD ones.

Bru, you only need to replace the sensors if they have broken, ie the light came on in the dash.

Less dust for sure and seem good, no issues with braking.

I seemed to have a lot of braking vibration when using the bendix 4x4 pads in the last year. Never had that issue before but I've moved from the Pilbara to the Perth hills so the demands on the brake system have increased significantly in that time. I've swapped over to akebono pads and seems better.
I've ended up with broken sensors over the years- havent bothered replacing them and I've just cut and joined the wires. I have a look at the pad thickness every tyre rotation so I'm not fussed on the backup warning as I replace the pads before they get to that point anyway

I used Bendix on the rear some 5K ago (at about 67K) and haven't experienced any probs. Maybe that's because I drove like an old dodderer though. :) Fronts are still original and plenty of pad left.
