Discovery D4 Tow Assist

My MY2011 Discovery 4 HSE still acts as if it has the caravan attached, even though it hasn't. As soon as I put it into reverse, the "trailer tracking in progress" message appears. Previously it would recognise when then caravan was hitched or unhitched. Any clues?

Do you have a trailer LED pulse eliminator module fitted to your car?

Or does yours have hardwired resistors for trailer detection - and it’s still switched on? Custom mod - Switch in the rear somewhere presumably.
