Hi Guys
Im getting a price of a EFS complete kit with rear polyairs.Anybody had any experience with this setup.
Im sure I read here(but possibly elswhere) that its one of the partners who designed the TJM TJS setup making these.
3 year 60000KM warranty!!!!

Hi Andrew
I am running an EFS 50mm lift on my 95 Disco, fitted Sep 04
Front end - happy:)
Rear end - not as happy.:( I have broken 2 rear shockers ( 6 months apart )
Both replaced with no argument but it does ruin a day out.

Hi Greg
I wonder if the rear shocks are too short????
Did you go the Heavy Duty or Extra Heavy Duty rear springs.
As my Disco2 has ACE Im looking at the heavy duty plus Polyairs for when Im towing/loaded up.

Hi Andrew
I asked the guys who supplied & installed the suspension kit if the shockers were too long/short, they assured me that this is not the case. They suspect I might have got a faulty batch, however as one shock failed at the bottom & the other failed at the top I believe this to be unlikely. I am currently running without the rear sway bar but this should not affect the rear shockers as the early Discos did not have one.
We don't have Polyairs, we dont use the Disco for heavy towing.
My rear springs are the Extra Heavy Duty, too firm for empty but ride nicely when loaded up (160l fuel, camping gear, wife, kids etc). You may find them too stiff if your vehicle is a daily driver.
Cheers
Greg
