There was one I saw in a car lot in Wellington about a year ago. It is still somewhere in the district, I see it occasionally. About six months ago I saw an extensively modified double cab 110 that may have been one of them in Yass.

Good to hear at least ones still around, I assume JRA in sydney produced them as one offs. Its hard to belive the twin cab wasent more popular un till later times, my 130 CC is great but I envy the turning circle on 110s.

Yep, saw one and fell in love with it, so did my partner now wife. Talked to one of the guy's with the show and got the info on how to buy one once the exhibit was over. Very nearly took a job travelling with them as they needed a chef.
Went touring Australia and never followed up on buying one.

As far as I know they were never offered to the public, so it is impossible to know whether they would have been popular. The reason for this decision by JRA is probably that the 110 wheelbase did not allow a load area as large as the competing double cab utes, the most popular being the Hilux.

this is really going to hurt my brain but i seem to recall something along these lines in LRE last
year, i could be off the mark but if some one has back issues they might be able to check, unfortunatly with
the move over here it was one of the things that got a sacrificed

I thought that one was a 110 wagon cut down. It pops up in town every couple of weeks.
