VDO Fuel Guage interchangability

Hi,

To all the electrical gurus. I've just picked up a set of VDO gauges for my Isuzu County and was wondering is it a simple swap out for the fuel guage ? I'm not sure if the stock Land Rover sender will work with the VDO guage ?

You need one with 280 to 33 Ohm range.

Would it be the same for a new, replacement fuel tank? I replaced a corroded tank on my 87 County and used the sender it came with, now 1/4 tank is closer to empty on the original gauge, based in mileage driven after fillup.

330 to 13. The 240 to 33 VDO gauges work really well with the stock senders. I’ve used them on many Defenders.
