I have just scored a genuine Land Rover RAI from a dealer who no longer wanted it.
It is the right one for my D3 V6 petrol, but I'm wondering if there will be any issues fitting it with a traxide system, and spare battery on the driver side in the normal position.
The part number is VPLDP0444.
Does any one know if there are any dramas???
Its costing me a total of $60 for freight from interstate so I can't go and look at it and then look in the vehicle.
Yes, I know it's not a snorkel, and I'm happy with that.

VPLDP0444 is a Defender RAI. The D3/4 one is VPLAP0018.

I'm pretty sure the D3/4 one fits all variants. The second battery should not interfere with the installation at all.

As per DieselLSE... that part number is a Defender RAI for TDCi.

Oops, wrong part number! Yes it is VPLAP0018 - the other one was picked up by my mate for the same price - $60 freight!! He knows his will fit as he's done the research - my purchase was spur of the moment based on the price.
thanks for the feedback.

One of the Indys in Melb does an upgrade to seal that system. It wouldn’t be very hard to do yourself.

If anyone's interested, do a search, someone posted what was needed to seal the LR RAI in response to my question some years ago.....
