Way back I was doing some contract fitting work for a Brisbane Coy. whose two way radio system was run by a middle aged spinster named Miss Stiffcock. Pronounced sty- ko. Any other pronunciation was at the speaker's risk of life and limb.

there was a clan of dairy farmers up on Barrington named Vile. I was told the name came from Shropshire.

I spent a year in Penang and the Doctor's name was Butcher. The Dentist was Dr Payne.

In the 1970’s my grandfather had a funeral parlour client ( he was a lawyer) called Human and Pitt.
I have just looked them up and they are still in business!
