I'm not IT or phone tech savvy , but why is it a more recent thing that so many posters put their photos up sideways?
They usually apologise and say nothing they do can correct it , but put up the photos anyway.
I am at the point where I won't bother to read a thread with sideways photos , because I believe the poster can't be ****ed trying to post correctly , so why should I bother to read?
Can someone savvy here tell everyone in a new sticky thread what the problem is and how to rectify it?

The VERY best solution to this most annoying problem is to take your phone photo's in "Landscape" or hold your phone sideways NOT upright when taking the image [thumbsupbig]
Failing this the only other option is to use image editing software to rotate the image correctly But like I said Simply hold your phone sideways when you take a pic and everything will be apples [biggrin]

Try setting your phone to "Auto Rotate", This should solve your upside down problem[thumbsupbig]

I have only had this problem since I got a Samsung phone , all previous phones no problem. I spoke to Voderphone about the problem& they told me to use smaller resolutions but same problem , I now try to take my photo's with my camera but not always possable. I have tried rotating them but either still puts them sidewards or up side down. I think sidewards photo's are better than no photo's at all.[bighmmm]

On occasion, my photos that are upright when viewed on the computer, have rotated when uploaded to the forum.

It does when viewing on the phone but not otherwise.

Maybe they are using Chinese cameras.[bigwhistle]

Apparently its an Iphone feature. I solve it by saving the pictures locally to my PC or mac and uploading them to the forum from there. The act of saving them places them in the correct orientation.

I always save mine from the phone to the desk top & they always turn , even if I rotate them forward, backwards or up side down they will never load onto here up the correct way. [bigsad]

Strange, its usually the apple phones that cant get it right. Never had an issue with any android phone.

Wifey has this issue with EVERY phone she has ever owned.
Im reasonably confident if i gave her a dedicated camera she would still get it wrong.
