i need some money ....
i have run out for now...
i need to sell some more cd's or have a few people hit the donate button above.. i have already poured several hundreds of dollars of my own money into the upgrade and the pot is empty for now...

got a spare $150 ? :P

best option i can find available is http://www.photopost.com/

$150... it's only the cost of a tank and a half of diesel.

Just did my bit...how about a few more helping:p.

We all need to help keep it as the best Land Rover owners' forum on the planet.:)

I donated the the value of my next coveted accessory...this place is the best accessory that money can buy.

Also, while we're on the subject of photos, Scouse, when are we going to get some pics from the Yalwal w/end up? I'm hanging to see some. Mine are due back from the developers now, providing they stop stuffing me around some more:rolleyes:I was waiting for the gallery to come back to life.
I have around 60 photos to store somewhere & Tony (tony) has sent me about 100 photos.
I was out of action for a few days last week but I should get the report done in the next couple of days  .

Anything to help Dave keep up the great work :) .

Dave,
I've just deposited $50 into your Westpac account.

They wouldn't let me use Scouse as a reference - it has to be numbers only.
They've used the branch number as the reference which is 032176.

Now, where's our photo gallery ?

Hi Guys
Ive started this thread as it was mentioned in another thread that Inc has spent plenty of his own money in upgrading the site.
Quite a few have already donated, well done guys.
There is a donate tab via paypal up the top,or Inc has BSB details for internet transfer.
I have just sent $20,not a huge amount, but there are lots of us.How many of you guys who get so much out of this site are going to match or better me????
If you already donated as a result of the other thread list it here please. The more who read this post and see what we are doing to help towards the upkeep of OUR SITE the more will feel they should chip in and help.
Come on guys, heaps of you have said what a great job Dave (Inc) is doing with the site, show your appreciation with a little financial help.
WELL DONE INC AND EVERY ONE WHO CHIPS IN

But what about sustainability..who amongst us are prepared to take on Inc's job...without him this place is nothing.

At my place of employment one of my jobs is to find someone to replace me.

Therefore who amongst us can share the responsibility or take over the responsibility...Dave can you rise to this challenge?

It is not a fair challenge.

We can do better than this, Dave has all the work to do whilst we reap the rewards, PayPal can now be used with a bank account you don't need a credit card cost nothing to do or you can contact Dave for account info and direct credit the account either on-line or through a bank branch

I know what about this - for those that make a financial contribution add some type of ICON to the area in the posts where the Yahoo ICQ icons are etc, that way those who ask can be told - oh yeah thats for financal contributors -

i know we have discussed AULRO being a club etc and that we dont want to make it one - but why dont we make it that we can be financial contributors for 12 month ( finanical years) - I recon i could nearly stretch to writing it off on tax as a work related expence...... he he he

Done - not quite the $150, sorry - may be able to stump up some more next month. Hope everyone else manages to dig deep!

I am pretty sure that, with the amount of information and knowledge that there is available on this forum - a suitably worded intro and "sales pitch" would encourage people to pay $10 to register? I have already saved 100 x that in repair and maintainance costs due to this forum.

Dave,
I will chuck in another $20 bills on pay day after the 15th. You know how it is after Xmas. All you guys that have donated, top stuff. Especially you guys on pensions and low income. Outlaw good stuff with the club donation. This resource has saved me heaps over the last few years. All of us regulars should be prepared to chuck in $20 a year to maintain the site. Should at least be 500 regulars. The more money the better system Dave can provide and maybe pay for some of his time. I do not think we should charge infrequent users, but if they find it useful a donation will always help. Any of you guys who have used technical info and saved some money on repairs or avoiding damage should seriously consider a donation. Lets see if we can at least raise $5k for Dave.

Finally got around to my little contribution, sorry it's taken so long, but as you all know, we don't rush that much up here in QLD.

Now I am confused.

I donated via paypal on 13th Jan and the forum was about two or three pages long, starting sometime in Jan or Dec(?). Come back today and it is 13 pages, but different and dating back years? WTF?

Did I miss something - like the Phantom Comics - "for those who came in (or back) late?"

Any chance of a postal address so I can send a cheque? Don't have a credit card.
Thanks

:D Subscription completed through PayPal and a second payment of $22.50 through PayPal to round off to $50 total donation.

Thanks for a fantastic site. I can only imagine the effort it takes to keep the cogs turning so appreciation through $$ is the only way.

Yeah for Dave/Incisor :clap2:
