Relatives of Flt Lt Everett Murry Lance family are well known to 3 RAR B Company members.

Cpl David John Dubber and Flt Lt Everett Murry Lance were both KIA 7th June 1971 during Operation Overlord during the Battle of Long Khanh.

During the weekend of the 5th, 6th and Monday 7th June 2021 the Commemoration of the Battle of Long Khanh will occur. It is proposed that both the above KIA

be honoured in the closing ceremonies of the Australian War Memorial during that time.

It is imperative that we locate Next of Kin for Cpl David John Dubber. To date I have been unsuccessful.

My limited information is that David had a daughter possibly by the name of Liz and I believe that she may have lived in Victoria somewhere. That's all I know.

Please consider this request and make contact with anyone that you think may know details for David’s Next of Kin.

Any information will be provided to the Department of Veterans affairs and the Australian War Memorial to assist the family to partake in the Commemoration Service

proposed for the 7th June 2021 and the Last Post ceremony on a date to be determined. DVA and the AWM are well placed and practised in managing relatives at these

times. Any other assistance if any will be provided at their request.

Please reply if you have any information concerning David’s Next of Kin (Any/Every small piece of info might assist.)

Regards

bob, I reposted this on my firearms forum. We have quite a few vets over there, and many with military history in their family, so you never know.
