You can’t easily. New shell required

I have a similar problem with the keys for the D4 we just picked up. From my research so far the new cases are only about $20-$30 unless you desperately want a "genuine" one. Swap over the internals and all sorted.

There's a few threads, most recently

I have recently got one of these off eBay to cover the delamination issue.

Any cutting of wires and soldering involved? For your pic it does not look like a D4 key which has a different back.

It’s a key cover, your original delaminated key just sits inside the ‘chrome’ cover.

Correct.
It just clips over the fob and choice of colours.
Less confusion now when grabbing keys off the hook at home.

Just looked at your original picture.
Same fob but where yours has de laminated the cover won’t be much use.
Previously I got one of these from eBay

Small amount of removal of plastic lugs to remove innards, insert in to new case, melt holding lugs down with a heated screwdriver or soldering iron. Use metal slide off old fob instead of the Range Rover one.

I did a similar thing after my dealer replaced my key shell free of charge a couple of years ago for the delaminated problem.... i bought a couple of silicone covers on eBay to put over my key fobs - provides great protection if you happen to drop them too. I do like yours though!!

I have not had a replacement shell fail so I’ve not bothered with alternatives.
