Sometimes I find myself doing just this.
Whenever I read an obituary I scan immediately to age and cause.Like an athlete looking at the clock, I am measuring my chances.

We'll have to agree to disagree, I consider his music to be quite average, but his journalism is nowhere near that good. [bighmmm]

When you've lost as many friends as some of us to obscure diseases as a result of military service, you tend to check from time to time. It's sad I've also been to more funerals than weddings.
